- How much do the plans cost?
We have four Web hosting plans, on differing platforms, with different pricing, and offering different services. Please see our plan listings here for pricing. In any case, we will continue to bill your credit card, or send your invoice, unless you decide to cancel your Web account. You can cancel your Web account at any time by sending an email to us at
- When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged as of the date that you purchased the Web account and on the same date each subsequent month unless you tell us to cancel your Web account. If you select annual billing, your credit card will be charged on the date that you purchase the Web account and on the same date each subsequent year.
Clients who wish to be invoiced monthly will recieve their invoice in the second week of the month. Payment is due the last week of the month.
Web Accounts will be accessible through a temporary IP address
while the domain is being registered or transferred.
- How do I submit my credit card information?
If for any reason your credit card does not clear with the bank, the primary contact will be notified by email. Any Web account not brought current within 7 days of the email notice is subject to suspension. Accounts that remain suspended for two accounting cycles will be completely terminated. Your credit card information can be sent to us in one of four ways:
- Online - By utilizing our SSL
encrypted Online Signup Form, all of your account information, including your credit card information, comes to us securely. This allows us to setup your account the same business day, if received before 6:00 p.m. PST.
- Phone - You can call us toll free at 877-503-9870 during regular business hours (9 am to 5 pm PST, Monday - Friday).
- Facsimile - You can fax us your credit card information at (905) 529-2313.
- Email - You can send us your credit card information by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- What if I want to cancel my Web account?
If you pay for your Web account on a monthly basis, you may cancel at any time and Global Presence will not charge your card for any additional months. Any amounts paid for the month in which you cancel and any monthly fee(s) for any month expired before your cancellation is non-refundable.
If you are on the annual, semi-annual, or quarterly payment plan, you must cancel your Web account within 30 days for a full refund. After 30 days, all pre-paid Web accounts will receive a 50% refund of your current annual, semi-annual, or quarterly payment on the remaining pre-paid months. To cancel your Web account, send us an email at email@example.com.
- Can I pay by cheque?
Cheque payments are accepted for Web accounts. Global Presence accepts personal cheques, company cheques, cashier's cheques, and money orders. Cheques returned unpaid (NSF) will be assessed a $25 fee.

- Something is wrong with my billing. How can I fix it?
In order to remedy the situation or make changes to your billing information, please contact the billing department by phone toll free at 877-216-2912, by phone locally at (905) 630-3697, by fax at (905) 529-2313, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- I am a US resident, will I be billed in US funds?
No. All of Global Presence's billing is done in Canadian funds.
- Will Global Presence automatically upgrade my account if I exceed allocated limits?
We will never change anything on your account without a specific request on your part. If you anticipate an increase in your bandwidth usage or disk storage space and wish to change plans contact us. This change will be effective at the beginning of your next billing cycle.
- How do I re-activate a suspended Web account?
You can re-activate a suspended Web account by emailing email@example.com with your new credit card information. Once your credit card has cleared your account will be re-activated. Accounts past 30 days overdue will be subject to a late payment fee of 2% per month (24% per annum) with a minimum charge of $0.50 per month.
